Join our Amwins Access team in Birmingham, AL as an Associate Underwriter! This position is in-office.

Each Associate Underwriter is a vital member of our production teams, providing:

Reviewing submissions information required to issue new or renewal quotesRating and preparation of new or renewal quotes as directed by UnderwriterReview of and handling of inspection recommendations and discrepanciesMonitoring various reports for consistencyData entry into multiple internet based systemsUse Microsoft Office software, (e.g. Outlook, Word and Excel)We are looking for people with:

1 to 5 years of insurance experience preferred, or a related degree from an accredited four-year universityCommercial Lines insurance experience preferredExcellent computer skills including typing proficiency, Microsoft Office proficiency with an emphasis in Excel spreadsheetsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detailSnapshot of what Amwins provides to our valued team members:
