DEPOSITORY

Our Depository team has an exceptionally strong track record of successfully serving the M&A and capital markets needs of regional banks and thrifts, commercial finance companies, mortgage lenders, and other depository institutions. Our senior bankers work as a team to provide expert market intelligence, advisory and execution services while aligning with clients as teammates and not competitors. We truly understand the depository space, and are highly active with a wide range of private and public companies that come to us for everything from IPOs and private placements to mergers and acquisitions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Vice President at Stephens, you have significant responsibility in supporting senior bankers with business development, relationship maintenance and transaction execution, as you continually develop expertise within Depositories. Key tasks include:

Creation and execution of business development and marketing plans in coordination with Senior Bankers.Oversee the execution of live engagements, from the initial preparation phase through the closing of transactions.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of work for Associates and Analysts.Recruit, educate, and train Investment Banking Associates and Analysts.Perform other tasks as assigned by management.QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of investment banking experience or an MBA + 3 years of investment banking experienceSignificant experience with M&A and Capital Markets transactions in the Depositories spaceExcellent analytical and modeling skillsHigh energy with strong interpersonal, accounting and finance skillsAbility to perform under pressure and tight deadlinesStrong commitment to respecting and safeguarding confidential information;Commitment to working hardExtraordinary focus on work quality and attention to detailAdherence to regulatory requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to learn quickly, with a particular focus on accounting rules and financial valuation methodologiesStrong client management skillsDemonstrated ability to work well in team environment
