Located near Wood Dale, IL, this person will join the team as an Accountant, helping take full control and responsibility over two business segments across the organization!
Job Description
Accountant Responsibilities:Experience with general ledger accountingProficiency in month-end close proceduresSkilled in making journal entriesExpertise in creating and managing account reconciliationsResponsible for project accounting and tracking for service-related projectsConduct project analysis and profitability assessmentsHandle service billing to clients, including time, travel, and material costsOversee prepaid asset management and associated journal entriesPerform a comprehensive review of the balance sheet on a monthly basisPrepare and file Sales and Use tax returnsTrack financial variances for business unit P&L against forecasts and budgetsDevelop and report operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA would be highly advantageous1-2+ years of experience in accounting requiredManufacturing/Construction industry experience is requiredProject Accounting experience a plusCost Accounting or Inventory Accounting experience a plusAbility to communicate with employees globally, clearly, and preciselyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, collaboration, and presentation skillsSAP and/or Concur experience a plusStrong Microsoft Excel Skills
