Full-Time Accountant

to join our outstanding team in our corporate office in Paoli, PA.Benefits include, but are not limited to:Comprehensive benefit package (medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) and more)Referral bonusResponsibilities:The Accountant position is responsible for supporting Accounting Department functions for Collage Rehabilitation Partners and will report directly to the Controller/Accounting Operations. This role performs general accounting and analytical functions including, but not limited to, journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and cash transactions. The ideal candidate would have experience with Great Plains, and a knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP). Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, adherence to closing deadlines, and willingness to step in and assist with ad hoc projects from the Accounting team is also critical to this role.Accountant duties Include, but are not limited to:Prepares standard journal entries, account analyses and reconciliations in support of the companys monthly closings (Prepaid Amortization, Accrued Professional Expenses, BOA CC Exp reports, etc.)Downloads, verifies, and reports daily cash receipts and other banking activityPrepares bank reconciliations and ensures reconciling items are resolved timelyRecord and reconciles daily cash transactions and communicates to respective teams if appropriate documentation is missing (i.e., missing invoice for cashdisbursement, etc.)Record T&E reports from the divisions and post for payroll to include in their bi- weekly reimbursement through payrollRecord Fixed Asset entries and respective depreciation calculations within GP

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or business equivalentMinimum two years of related work experience in AccountingProficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience in Great Plains is a strong plusUnderstanding of Journal Entry structures, as well as overall/relationalunderstanding of Financial Statements (BS as it relates to the P&L)Ability to work independently, take direction, and adhere to deadlinesStrong communication skillsCollage Rehabilitation Partners Is An Equal Opportunity Employer#JT
