Position Summary:
Acuren is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to help with operations at our Indianapolis IN location.The Administrative Assistant will perform administrative and office support activities. Duties will include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, faxing, and may include coordination of purchasing and facilities management. Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced, change environment.Responsibilities:Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messagesCompile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activitiesOperate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computersCompute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reportsMaintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computerOpen, sort, and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mailReview files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requestsGreet and direct all visitors and clientsFile and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reportsPerform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping workAssist with any other departmental duties as required, to include uploading payroll spreadsheetsRequirements:
High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years general office experienceExperience with Microsoft Office Programs with strong Excel, Word and Outlook skillsBenefits:
