Job DescriptionExperienced payroll and payroll tax professional with expertise in Canada and US Tax Compliance, laws, and regulations. Exposure to ADP Globalview, Celergo and Workday essentialDaily System Administrator of the Payroll Solutions for US, Canada and Mexico, as well as, ownership of the entire Mexico semi-monthly payroll processing cycles from beginning to endPerforming computations and clerical duties necessary to prepare payroll information for computer input, adjust computer output, validation and reconciliation of payroll entries, reports, and to process exception items or those requiring special handling.Reviewing, auditing, and reconciling all related payroll reports and tax filingsAssisting in the maintenance and implementation of country specific payroll guidelines and applicable policies and proceduresResponding to inquiries from employees and managers via internal ticketing platform regarding salary, deductions, tax, and changes in compensation.Support HR Business partners on HR transactional activities which cannot be resolved by vendors or employee/manager self-serviceSupport Time tracking requirements (eTIME for US and Canada), maintain and process Shift Schedules and Holiday Calendars. Process exception items or those requiring special handling. Managing California Wage and Labor, as well as Final pay requirementsPartner with internal stakeholders on internal\external audit responses and reportingOwnership of tax reconciliations, agency notice remediation, tax adjustments validation and processing, tax amendments, and monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements including W-2s and T4sAssist with creating test cases and performing system testing as requiredIdentify and make recommendations for process improvement, and oversee their implementationExpertise in Canada and US Tax Compliance, laws, and regulations, with excellent attention to details, process management and analytical skills

QualificationsAssociate or bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of administration experience in Payroll administrationExperience with ADP GlobalView, Celergo and Mexico payroll, desiredExperience with payroll tax compliance/notice resolution and tax agency interactions requiredStrong attention to detail and organizedFluent in Spanish, desiredAbility to prioritize and plan work activities; uses time efficientlyAbility to meet and/or exceed productivity standards and complete work accurately in a timely manner within tight deadlines

Additional Information

For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $78,880 to $123,940. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
