Job Description
Essential ResponsibilitiesIn this intern assignment, students will work in a fast-paced, data-driven, manufacturing environment. Assignments will be in the following areas:Develop 2 and 3-axis N/C processes for development hardware (i.e., machining programs, tooling,) as well as 4 and 5 axis N/C processesContribute to process improvement efforts on mature hardware with similar supportSet up and operation of machine tool equipment (both N/C and standard-types to support development/production cell activities)Work to blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce development hardwarePerform in-process dimensional checks, including CMM operations/set upTroubleshoot process issuesCreate development/production planning and support revisions of production planning as appropriate for process changesPerform other related duties as requiredQualifications/Requirements
Must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA (without rounding)Must be a full-time matriculated student in a Bachelor of Science program for an Engineering degreeCompleted two full years of college (rising junior)Willing and available to work at GE Aerospace in Lynn, MAEligibility Requirements

Benefits
Pay rates for this position begin at $20/hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
