Your Job:
To manage general accounting and budgeting functions assigned by AVP MHS Accounting for Methodist Health System and supervise professional staff. To ensure that financial reporting needs assigned by the AVP MHS Accounting are met and that financial statements present fairly, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and corporate policy, the results of operations. To manage, analyze and account for all MHS Cash and Customer A/R related activities while also supporting the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.

Education
Bachelor's degree with major in accounting.
Related Work Experience and Other SkillsAbility to work overtime as needed.Computer literacy required (advanced Excel or similar spreadsheet capabilities).Must be a team-oriented problem-solverMust be able to analyze complex issues, identify relevant facts and communicate problematic resolution both verbally and in writingMust have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and be able to interface with a multidiscipline management staff.Must have the aptitude to learn new computer system skillsPC based accounting experience preferred (Workday preferred)Related budgeting experience preferred.Previous management experience preferredHospital accounting experience preferredWork Experience: 5 or more years related work experienceTen key by touchCPA PreferredMethodist Health System is a faith-based organization with a mission to improve and save lives through compassionate, quality healthcare.
