Job DescriptionRoessel Joy has partnered with an investment banking company in Boston, who is seeking to bring on a senior accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with 4+ years of accounting experience with strong month-end and high volume experience. This person will sit on a small team reporting to the VP of Finance. This position is also hybrid with 3 days in office and 2 days remote!
Responsibilities of the role:
Prepare and distribute client invoicesPrepare and research discrepanciesReconcile monthly client project filesPerform general ledger, account reconciliations, accuracy of data, and correct errors when need beWork closely with customer-facing teams to ensure billing is accurately processedProcess semi-monthly payrollPoint of contact for all employee payroll questionsProcess invoices from vendorsSupport month-end financial close, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and production of income statementsQualifications of the role:
