Job Description

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team! The Senior Accountant will be responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting, month-end close responsibilities, and support to the accounting and finance department.

Manage the month-end close process and provide support during the annual audit.Assist in financial analysis and reporting to support the accounting and finance department.Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.Assist in inventory accounting, including inventory valuation, reconciliation, and reporting.Monitor inventory levels, analyze inventory turnover, and assess inventory obsolescence.Work with external tax advisors and auditors during tax filings and audits.Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.CPA certification required.4+ years of accounting experience.Manufacturing industry experience preferred.Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Proficiency in MS Excel, financial software, and tools (ex. QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWhat's on Offer
