Job Description

Lead month-end close activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.Manage intercompany transactions, including reconciliation of intercompany accounts, resolution of discrepancies, and coordination with subsidiaries to ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to resolve intercompany issues, streamline processes, and improve controls.Prepare and review intercompany agreements, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis for management review and external audit purposes.Stay current with accounting regulations and industry standards related to intercompany transactions and implement best practices as necessary.Participate in special projects and initiatives to support continuous improvement and operational excellence within the finance function.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close and intercompany transactions within a manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles, with specific knowledge of intercompany accounting requirements.Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.What's on Offer
