Location: Chatsworth, CA

Responsibilities:
- Develop and design 3D models and 2D drawings using Solidworks/CAD software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide viable engineering solutions.
- Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and FEA to ensure design integrity and quality.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation like BOMs, assembly instructions, and test procedures.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to improve design efficiency and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Solidworks/CAD Engineer.
- Proficient in Solidworks/CAD software with a strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Experience in manufacturing processes, materials, and product development.
- Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems is desirable.
- Proficiency in other CAD software like AutoCAD, Inventor, CATIA, etc., will be an added advantage.
