Job DetailsJob Details:
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Maintenance Techs to join our dynamic team on 2nd (3pm - 11pm) or 3rd (11pm - 7am) shifts. This role will provide essential maintenance support to our busy manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who can effectively troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and machinery. With a strong emphasis on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and CNC systems, this role is perfect for a hands-on technician who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to keep machinery running at peak levels of performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components, utilizing schematics and technical drawings.
- Coordinate with the production team to schedule repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Document all maintenance and repair work, maintaining accurate records for reference and reporting.
- Keep the maintenance area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to share knowledge and solve complex problems.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems is essential.
- Technical training or certification in hydraulics, maintenance, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proven ability to adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in using a variety of tools, including power and hand tools, for maintenance and repair tasks.
