Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team and play a critical role in our manufacturing process

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of various machines, ensuring the production of high-quality components and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read job order forms before each shift to understand specific production requirements.
• Meet the quota of parts per hour while maintaining quality standards.
• Set up machines, including calibration and cleaning, to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings, such as speed, to optimize production.
• Feed parts to automated machines and monitor their operation.
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications.
• Test machine operation periodically and troubleshoot issues that may occur during the shift.
• Check output for any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
• Keep detailed records of approved and defective units or final products.
• Maintain activity logs and reports for production tracking.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a machine operator.
• Working knowledge of CNC machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.).
• Understanding of production procedures and processes.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations, including the constant use of protective gear.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and improve machine performance.
• Exceptional attention to detail in quality control.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with other team members.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.
