Albany Medical College is actively seeking a dynamic physician leader to serve as
Chair of the Department of Urology . This prestigious position offers the opportunity to lead a well-established department in a premier academic health center. The selected candidate will also hold the
Falk Family Endowed Chair
and serve as
Service Chief at Albany Medical Center Hospital .Position Overview:The Chair will oversee all clinical, educational, and research activities within the Department of Urology, including:Leading a team of 18 faculty members, 15 residents, and 15 advanced practice providers (APPs).Managing urological care at
Albany Medical Center Hospital , a 766-bed facility, as well as at off-site outpatient clinics and health system locations, including
Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital
and various community hospitals (Columbia Memorial, Saratoga, and Glens Falls Hospitals).Ensuring compliance with DNV, New York State Department of Health, and other applicable regulations.The Chair will report to both the
Dean of Albany Medical College
and the
Hospital General Director
