2nd Shift Overhead Crane Operator

Express Employment is currently seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Overhead Crane Operator. As an Overhead Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating dual hoist remote overhead cranes to move, lift, and position materials and equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Operate overhead cranes to lift and transport materials according to specificationsInspect and maintain crane equipment to ensure safe operationFollow safety guidelines and protocols while operating cranesRead and interpret load charts and work orders to determine how to lift and move materialsCoordinate with team members to ensure accurate and safe load handlingMonitor crane operations and make adjustments as necessaryKeep accurate records of lifting operations and equipment maintenanceMaintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements

High school diploma or equivalentPrior experience operating dual hoist remote overhead cranes is requiredKnowledge of crane safety protocols and regulationsAbility to read and interpret load charts and work ordersGood hand-eye coordination and attention to detailStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work 2nd shift hoursWillingness to perform routine maintenance on crane equipment
