Shipping Clerk with Forklift Exp

Essential Job Functions:

Essential Job Functions:
- Adhere strictly to all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and relevant SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Receive inbound materials, including tracking, logging, and verification.
- Prepare materials for shipment.
- Use Data Entry to create reports, PO's, shipping labels and other Clerical duties.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and various Shipping platforms.
- Verify the quantity, weight, and conformity of materials to stated identifications and log the receipt of items onto the system.
- Proficient in driving both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Certified forklift operator can interpret and apply product label information onto receiver sheets.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Working Conditions:
- Collaborate with Receiving Supervisor in both indoor and outdoor environments, including air-conditioned areas.
- Involves lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, bending, and operating forklifts in non-air-conditioned areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving skills in practical situations.
- Effective communication skills.
- Can work with minimal supervision, either independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work additional hours on short notice to meet company production goals.
