Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year

This is a hybrid remote position with work from home schedule on Mondays and Fridays

We are looking for a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager with a background in Trust and Estate tax services.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Tax Manager, you will:

1. Lead and manage the tax department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all tax-related matters.
2. Lead multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax preparation, research, planning and consulting services for a variety of clients
3. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
4. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree is highly desirable.
2. Active CPA is required. JD degree is a plus.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager role within public accounting.
4. Background specializing in estate, gift, and trust tax services is a must.
5. Extensive understanding and knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
6. Ability to coach and mentor other team members.
