Founded in 1980, our client provides the US Military, law enforcement, and government agencies with precision-engineered, high-quality weapons, components, and modular weapon systems. With new international projects and contracts on the horizon, they need machinists on the 3rd shift, including 3 CNC operators and 2 manual machinists. They seek quality individuals for long-term positions.Hard SkillsOperate and adjust CNC Mill and Lathe toolsStrong mechanical aptitudeBasic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical devicesBasic knowledge of machining processes (drilling, milling, turning)Use of precision measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, height stands)Competence to measure to .001Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Eldridge, Iowa.Work Environment
Well-lit, very clean, and updated facility. Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level can be loud at times. Family-like atmosphere
