Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for an

Enterprise Architect

supporting the Integration Division in Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Acquisition Delta within the United States Space Force. They aim to integrate activities for the Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) system across the Acquisition Delta. As the Senior Enterprise Architect, you will perform work that involves the analysis, planning, design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and management of the enterprise's structural framework to align IT strategy, plans, and systems with the mission, goals, structure, and processes of the organization.

This is a full-time position located at Peterson Space Force Base with the option to work remotely up to fifty percent. Telework capabilities for local candidates (percentage of telework allowed will vary based on the customer's discretion)

What you'll be doing:

Developing reference models of the enterprise and maintaining the information in the IT repository

Determining the gaps between the current and the target architecture and recommending plans for transitioning to target architecture

Recommending the policies and principles to guide technology decisions for the enterprise architecture

Identifying opportunities to improve enterprise-level systems to support business processes and utilize emerging technologies

Promoting and educating customers and stakeholders on the use and value of the enterprise architecture

Providing enterprise architecture guidance, support, and coordination to customers and IT project teams

Documenting the enterprise architecture infrastructure, including the business units and key processes, using modeling techniques

Ensuring technical integration is achieved across the enterprise by participating in test planning, validation, and reviews

Evaluating the impact of enterprise architecture products and services on IT investments, business operations, stakeholder satisfaction, and other outcomes

Coordinating and conducting governance and portfolio management activities associated with ensuring compliance with the enterprise architecture; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices to all components of the enterprise architecture

Supporting implementation and execution of Agile software execution in concert with Government and Prime contractors

Supporting and advising on the development of Service Oriented Architectures for software development

Minimum Experience:Citizenship:

Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience; including eight (8) years of DoD experience;

Master's in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical discipline; including five (5) years of DoD experience

Additional Experience:

DoD Acquisition Program Office experience

Missile Warning, Missile Defense, and/or Space Domain Awareness or Command and Control Systems

DoDAF Architectural documentation experience (Highly Preferred)

Cloud-based technologies

Mission and/or software applications and their uses

Digital Engineering/Model-Based Systems Engineering

Sparx EA (including ProCloud Server) or Cameo Enterprise Architect

Modeling and simulation on Software-intensive systems

Tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, AFSIM

Preferable to Space Systems Command or similar systems

Benefits & Compensation:

Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves. Regular part-time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.

The base pay for this position is

$146,000 to $160,000

across the U.S. There is also a different range applicable for specific work locations. Base pay is based on several factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training, and education.
