Job Details:

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated QA Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of product quality and safety by implementing and monitoring our quality control systems. This role is vital to ensuring our products meet the strict standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction that we uphold. The QA Technician will work closely with our manufacturing team to identify potential quality issues and develop solutions to prevent these issues from occurring.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
  2. Implement and improve quality control operating procedures.
  3. Identify and recommend changes to methods or processes to increase efficiency and overall product quality.
  4. Work with operations team to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
  5. Participate in the creation and review of quality reports, data analysis, and documentation.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all aspects of the production process.
  7. Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure legal compliance.
  8. Work with the team to establish procedures, standards, systems, and procedures.
  9. Play a key role in Lean Manufacturing initiatives and projects.
  10. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a QA Technician or a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
  2. Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing and Quality Control.
  3. Experience in the food industry is a strong advantage.
  4. Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
  5. Good knowledge of MS Office and databases.
  6. Great attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
  7. Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  9. Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
  10. Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.).
