Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities: Work on multidiscipline teams to perform root cause analysis. Coordinate new processes and products introduction utilizing APQP tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC and MSA) Evaluate, create, update and control documents (written and video based on needs) through inter departmental communication. Must be able to translate documentation using Microsoft tools. Must understand and be able to apply basic inspection and testing techniques, including various types of sampling plans; must be able to read and interpret blueprints (drawings), including basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T). Expert level in gauges calibration and performing gauge R&R; Minitab knowledge required for assessment tools. Must be able to apply quality tools; must be able to interpret information and data; must be able to apply team concepts both as a member and leader. Must be able to conduct internal audits to ISO 9001:2015 standard. Interaction with customers and vendors in a professional manner. Advance level use of Microsoft Office Suite - especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Require excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with other departments. Continual self-improvement & willingness to travel as needed. Other duties as assigned. Defect Identification: Comparing physical characteristics to technical specifications will help identify and address defects early, reducing waste and improving product quality. Testing and Reporting: Conducting simple tests and preparing technical reports will provide valuable data for decision-making and continuous improvement. Advanced Measurement: Using and programming measurement equipment will enhance the precision and reliability of product testing. Customer Assistance: Helping customers understand product specifications and measurement data will improve customer satisfaction and product application. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Prefer significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.QualificationsAdditional Information:Education/Experience Preferred:Associate degree preferred. ASQ or similar organization certification preferred.Five (5) years quality work experience.Outstanding verbal and written communications skills to interact successfully with other departments. Basic knowledge of APQP and Statistical Process Control (SPC) preferred. Knowledge with the ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standards preferred. Demonstrated experience collaborating with teams and leading others.Capable of cross training in all job functions within the quality department.Microsoft Office Suite computer skills like Access, MS Project.
