Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Technical Training Specialist who will be responsible for developing advanced training materials and recommending vendor programs that align with instructional objectives in the wind industry and power generation sectors. This role involves creating and designing training guides using methods such as individual and group instruction, workshops, and demonstrations. As an expert facilitator, the Specialist delivers training across technical, operational, and management areas while executing the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) training program with a strong emphasis on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards. Additional responsibilities include evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, managing training plans and budgets, staying up-to-date with emerging industry trends, and documenting specialized hands-on training. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships are also essential to meeting business training needs.

The compensation for this role ranges from $23/hr to $27/hr depending on skillset, education, and years of experience. Benefits are also offered for this role.

Skills and Requirements

3 years training execution experience within Mechanical, Electrical, OR Hydraulic industry

Knowledge management and curriculum development experience

Understand electrical systems at a base level (experience in wind industry and power generation

Understanding of electrical systems at a base level

Must be self-sufficient - Technical writing experience

Hands on background working on simulator, electro-mechanical hydraulic equipment)

Could potentially lead into that forward facing instructor role null
