Overview
The Accounts Receivable Tech II will perform accounts receivable (billing) functions for a variety of government and commercial contracts. Maintain accounts receivable records.
Responsibilities
Processes all aspects of accounts receivable (billings) for a variety of government, commercial, and non-profit customers related to various kinds of contracts and customers. Performs all routine to moderate billings for the department.
Assists in accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely management of billings. Research billing related issues as necessary to process billings to clients.
Analyzes billings and prepares additional reports as required.
Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follow up.
Call and/or mail correspondence to customers as necessary to update accounts.
Assists with related special projects, as required. Assists team members as necessary.
No supervisory responsibilities
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
One year certificate from college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Basic data entry skills
Working knowledge of accounting processing software (Costpoint is preferred), Internet browser, the Excel spreadsheet application, and any word processing software
Estimated Salary/Wage
USD $16.70/Hr. Up to USD $29.90/Hr.
