Cutter Operator

Are you looking for a 2nd shift position in the Mentor area?
2nd shift: 3:30 pm-12:00 am Monday - Friday

The Cutter Operator is responsible for green and final cutting extrusion cores to length per the instructions and or invoices.

Minimum Job Specifications
Demonstrate the ability to set up and operate the diamond cut-off saw.
Demonstrate the ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
Record-keeping skills.
Ability to use calipers and micrometers.
Standing and operating a saw with hand guards for 8 hours. Visual and dimensional inspection of cores.
Set up V-Block
Maintain product traceability.

Organization Relationships:
The Saw Cut Operator reports directly to the Plant Supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to read instructions and also apply basic mathematical skills.
Training is provided to the right candidate.
