Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electricians are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment in industrial facilities.

Their duties include:

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components, such as wiring, switch boxes, lighting fixtures and more.
• Performing preventive maintenance and regular inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely.
• Identifying and fixing problems with electrical systems and equipment
• Following safety procedures and electrical codes, and designing and implementing electrical safety standards
• Keeping records, reviewing warranties, and filing claims
• Preparing electrical blueprints and interpreting technical documents
• Programming equipment as needed
• Ensuring that the electrical system is up to code
