We are looking for an energetic and results-driven AEMT or Paramedic to provide onsite full-time or part-time support at a local manufacturer in Clarksville, TN. This is a FT or PTopportunity. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!
What will you be doing in this role?
Responsible for providing direct oversight to EMS members and managing day to day operationsEnsuring EMS staff member is on-call to address issues or questions that may ariseEnsuring a staff member is on-call to direct patient care when the medical clinic is closed ability to be on property within 1 hour of being called, in case drug testing or care is requiredSending monthly reports of all EMS activities to clientEnsuring required staff is scheduled to cover each shift or as requiredThoroughly communicating any changes in policy and procedures/tasks to all EMS staffEnsuring all audits, cleaning logs, etc. are completed at each shift and to client standardsResponding to emergency situations and providing care within legal scope of practice, as defined by established protocolsCommunicating and documenting all emergent situations based on client and ProgressiveHealths policies and proceduresDevelop and maintain medical surveillance program for hearing, respirator fit testing, and Drug and Alcohol testing to adhere to the clients policies and protocolsInspecting and cleaning all EMS/medical equipment on a daily schedule and reporting any problems to Hankook - may perform minor repairs on equipment. All compartments on the response equipment must be wiped downMust be knowledgeable of all equipment and location of equipment, especially items within medical bag and response cartsResponsible for overseeing and ordering supplies as needed, and maintaining proper inventoryAttending all training mandated by client or ProgressiveHealthWatching for safety issues while in plant and reporting violations, problems, or concerns to clientTreating all injuries and collecting urine drug screens as requiredBeing on call for any issues or questions which may ariseMaintaining medical records for all patients actively seen per the electronic medical record or paper record as the appropriate documentation sourceMust demonstrate a positive, team environment and understand the importance of working with the client to deliver high quality performanceMust demonstrate knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA requirementsMust comply with all client policies and procedures and maintain a positive relationship with clientOther duties as assigned

The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensureCPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)ACLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferredThe ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shiftA high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communicationThe ability to work both independently and in a te m environment, without constant supervisionBe able to maintain confidentialityStrong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
