Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Director of Manufacturing Operations
to lead and manage manufacturing product lines, ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction. In this pivotal role, you will partner with the project managers, manufacturing shop leaders, estimating and the VP of Manufacturing to optimize processes, manage project backlogs, and support hiring goals while driving financial performance. The Director of Manufacturing Operations role requires strategic thinking, collaboration across departments, and a dedication to excellence in manufacturing operations.Responsibilities
Client Service:Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service experience, ensuring alignment with key business performance indicators.Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure products are delivered to exceed client expectations.Analyze client data and KPIs, implementing solutions to improve customer experience.Provide senior leadership with regular updates on client experience, manufacturing performance, and initiatives.Project Management & Financial Oversight:Lead manufacturing project management processes, ensuring Interstates PM Standards are met.Manage Manufacturing Project Managers and oversee financials related to project execution.Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams to meet customer needs and deliver high-quality products on time.Participate in estimating wrap-up meetings, providing insights on financial implications and resource utilization.Backlog Management:Analyze project backlogs and work with Scheduling and Production Managers to level workloads across shops or subcontract work during peak times.Provide input into pricing based on backlog to optimize financial performance.Support Hiring & Staffing Goals:Work closely with Recruiting to set hiring targets based on operational needs.Balance workforce levels with current and future project demands.Coordinate with delivery and offer teams to ensure staffing aligns with operational objectives.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Operations Management preferred. Will consider 10+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proven experience in operations management, project management, or a related role within manufacturing.Strong customer service experience and financial acumen.Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.Familiarity with shop operations, estimating processes, and workforce management is highly desirable.Why Join Us?

The pay range for this position is $120-165K + benefits.
