Job Details

As a Permanent Medical Malpractice Attorney, you will be responsible for representing medical professionals and healthcare organizations in complex medical malpractice cases. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Preparing and presenting cases in court, including trials and appeals
  • Negotiating settlements and plea agreements
  • Advising clients on legal matters related to medical malpractice
  • Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide high-quality legal services to clients
  • Managing a caseload and meeting deadlines

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing
  • 2+ years of experience in medical malpractice defense
  • Strong knowledge of medical malpractice law and related regulations
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
