LOCAL Bill Rate - [REDACTED] regardless of contract duration (local is within 50 miles of home address to contracted facility)For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48 hours36 or 48 hours**Their application MUST show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU, otherwise, the managers will not review it. Be sure this is added to the application prior to submitting in order to avoid delay. Also note, ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered.**Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, can go up to 1:5-:6*Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.Job Requirements
Must have EPIC experienceVent ExperiencePass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignmentBLS & ACLS - must be able to read and interpret strips and have or be willing to obtain NIHNurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.Some level 1 or 2 exp requiredTravel experience preferredSchedule Information
13 weeksMust Float to all Stepdown/Advanced Care unitsTraveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters.Unit Specific Information
Patient ratios targeted at 1:4, up to 1:5-:6Team nursing model participation may be required depending on the unit's needsPrimarily focused on trauma patients with multi-system injuries including neuro ortho and surgical patientsTele/drips/vents, PCAs, epidurals, and moderate sedation for procedures are commonly handled in the unitAdditional Details
