Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and detail-oriented Construction Superintendent with a strong background in restaurant construction. The individual will be responsible for overseeing all stages of restaurant construction projects from preconstruction planning to completion. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. This position requires a deep understanding of the construction process, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee all aspects of restaurant construction projects from initial planning to completion.
2. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
3. Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans.
4. Provide project updates to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
5. Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
6. Use Procore project management software to track project performance and manage resources.
7. Coordinate with the project team and handle any issues that arise.
8. Act as the point of contact for all participants.
9. Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
10. Ensure all safety guidelines and regulations are followed at the construction site.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in restaurant construction is a must.
3. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
5. Hands-on experience with Procore project management software.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. Exceptional leadership and time management skills.
8. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
9. Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently.
10. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.
11. Valid certification in construction safety and a valid driver’s license.
