The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. This opportunity is for a senior High Yield salesperson with strong credit knowledge, deep client relationships, and entrepreneurial skills to join a High Yield platform with a strategic growth plan.The right candidate will be a proven producer responsible for covering institutional investors, providing timely color and actionable ideas, and partnering with banking to capture, structure and distribute new issuance.The position can be located in either our Charlotte, NC or NYC office location.Role Objectives: Delivery

Provide in-depth institutional sales coverage for high yield bonds, cross-over credits and new issues.Deliver relevant trade ideas to meet clients' objectives.Capture riskless and strategic trading opportunities and provide timely market color.Institutionalize client relationships by delivering the bank's full leveraged finance platform, including trading, credit analysis, syndicate and other internal thought leaders.Provide market/credit color necessary for risk management of trading desk.Foster dialog between syndicate and clients to promote idea exchange and reverse inquiry generation.Recruit, develop and mentor junior talent.Provide leadership and strategic direction.Qualifications and Skills

8-10 years of experience within a top tier leveraged finance platform a plusStrong high yield sales and credit knowledge.Deep institutional investor relationships that can help drive volume and revenue within our growing platform.Proven ability to generate, capture and execute trade ideas.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proven self-starter that is also highly entrepreneurial and collaborative.Additional Requirements
