Pediatric Palliative Care physician
to deliver compassionate care across the continuum in the inpatient, outpatient, and home settings for Indiana children and families.Job Summary: interdisciplinary consult-based medical team of physicians, advanced-practice providers, nurses, and social workers who are dedicated to the mission of helping patients achieve quality of life, and providing support/resources to familiesWell-supported program with ample inpatient and outpatient clinical opportunities in a culture embracing the role of palliative carePhysicians are provided administrative weeks to focus on professional development and academic effortsOur team supports each other; prioritizes self-care and work/life balanceHighly skilled Pediatric Palliative Care team that honors the spirit of compassion, empathy, patience and presence as key interventionsClinician Educator Faculty appointment with Indiana University School of Medicine; participation in medical student, resident, and palliative care fellow trainingApproximately 75% inpatient, 25% outpatient and academic/adminCall shared equally among providersTraining Stipend potential for qualified applicantsComprehensive benefits package through Indiana University School of Medicine including group insurance (health, dental, life, disability), 401k with company match, PTO, relocation assistance and occurrence-based malpractice insurance coverage starting the first day of employment.
