DescriptionWe are hiring a Sales Manager!

Being the Sales Manager at a Concord Hospitality property means you hold an important key to the hotel's success. You will develop and foster hotel business through direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, and tours of the hotel for both guest rooms and event space. This role will focus on the "SMERF" market.

Responsibilities:Responsible for the development and performance of sales activities in the SMERF (Social, Military, Education, Religion, Fraternal) MarketA huge emphasis on wedding room blocksBook social events in the meeting space with 11 guest rooms or moreExperience with and the ability to grow the tour and travel marketAt least two years of hotel experience in SMERF market preferredAble to travel and attend trade showsLicense to drive and make sales appointmentsDevelop and execute Sales Action plansAssist Director of Sales with projects and or assigned accounts to maximize revenuesPrepare proposals and contractsSolicit, negotiate and book new & repeated groups, by using social media, outside calls and telemarketing.Computer proficiency requiredExperience with Delphi FDI a plusExcellent time- management skills and ability to delegate and handle multiple prioritiesExhibit creative problem solving and strategizingStrong business writing skillsDefine company brand through eventsEnsure staff is adequately prepared and informed for event.Must be a self-starter and have the ability to self-teachMust have the ability to work cohesively with Sales team and communicate new processes and keep everyone informed and updatedBenefits:
