Sachin.s@synechron.comOur Challenge:As a Abinitio Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.The RoleResponsibilities:Design and develop ETL processes using Abinitio software according to business requirements.Work with Teradata databases to store, retrieve, and manipulate data as needed by business processes.Create Unix shell scripts to automate tasks and integrate ETL processes with other applications.Use Autosys for job scheduling, monitoring, and reporting to ensure ETL processes run at optimal times and without errors.Optimize ETL performance by implementing best practices and tuning both Abinitio graphs and Teradata queries.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, database administrators, and other IT professionals to deliver high-quality data solutions.Document ETL processes, including data lineage, data flow diagrams, and transformation logic.Troubleshoot and resolve any ETL job failures or data issues.Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.Provide on-call support for ETL processes and resolve any production issues in a timely manner.Stay current with the latest technologies and methodologies in ETL development and data warehousing.Requirements:You are:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Overall 7+ years of experience.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ETL development with Abinitio.Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries for Teradata databases.Experience in Unix/Linux environment with strong shell scripting skills.Familiarity with Autosys or similar job scheduling tools.Understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.Ability to analyze complex data systems and document data elements, data flow, relationships, and dependencies.Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.It would be great if you also had:Recognized certifications in quality assurance and test automation (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).Proficiency in performance and security testing tools and practices.Leadership experience and proven track record in mentoring and guiding teams.We can offer you:A highly competitive compensation and benefits packageA multinational organization with 55 offices in 20 countries and the possibility to work abroad.Laptop and a mobile phone10 days of paid annual leave (plus sick leave and national holidays)Maternity & Paternity leave plansA comprehensive insurance plan including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-/short-term disability (plans vary by region)Retirement savings plansA higher education certification policyCommuter benefits (varies by region)Extensive training opportunities, focused on skills, substantive knowledge, and personal development.On-demand Udemy for Business for all Synechron employees with free access to more than 5000 curated coursesCoaching opportunities with experienced colleagues from our Financial Innovation Labs (FinLabs) and Center of Excellences (CoE) groupsCutting edge projects at the worlds leading tier-one banks, financial institutions and insurance firms.A flat and approachable organizationA truly diverse, fun-loving and global work cultureSYNECHRONS DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENTDiversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
