DescriptionMativ's global travel and expense manager is the leader of the global travel and expense management process, vendors and systems. The primary focus is on continually improving the process for both end users and consumers of the information to drive global alignment, process efficiencies, improved cost and user compliance.

responsibilities:Manage Global Travel and Expense Systems:

Manage global travel process and associated systems with to drive consistency and optimization in our travel and expense management process and systems.Collaborate with IT, Accounting, Treasury and HR to ensure systems and information flow between systems meets business needs.Work with accounting who manages the accounting and credit card portions of our process and systems to ensure the overall process is optimized through travel, expense, credit cards.

Drive Efficiencies and Cost Reduction:

Lead initiatives to consolidate and streamline travel and expense systems and processes across the organization with an initial focus on merging Concur environments.Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures within the travel and expense management function.Implement best practices and standardize processes to enhance efficiency and user experience.Monitor and analyze travel and expense data to identify trends and areas for cost reduction.

Vendor Management:

Manage relationships with travel management companies and other relevant vendors.Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and cost savings.

Compliance and Training:

Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures related to travel and expense management.Provide training and support to users on system functionality and best practices.Address and resolve issues related to travel and expense processes.

qualifications:Required

A bachelor's degree is required or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would provide the knowledge, skills and ability required.Experience managing corporate travel policies and procedures; knowledge of expense and travel management systems (Concur T&E and related ERP interfaces)Experience with travel contract negotiations, knowledge of travel industry best practices and relationships.
