Clinical Laboratory Scientist II

DescriptionWe are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II to join our Laboratory Department team. This role will involve performing complex medical laboratory tests for diagnosis and treatment of disease, analyzing test results, and ensuring quality control and assurance. If you have the necessary qualifications and experience, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.Responsibilities:Independently perform specimen processing and testing, including moderate and high complexity testingConduct preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot as neededManage quality control, evaluate data, and communicate relevant information to managementEvaluate the need for new methods and technology and provide recommendations to managementEnsure compliance with accrediting agencies and act as a resource to customersManage assigned projects and complete them within established time limitsRequirements:Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 15 years of clinical lab experience, or an Associate's or Bachelor's degree with relevant experienceCertification as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MT(AMT), MT(AAB), CLS(NCA), MT(HEW), CLT(NCA), MLT(ASCP), or MLT(AMT), or 5 years of lab experienceIf you are passionate about healthcare and have the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this position.
