University of Pittsburgh Physicians (UPP) and the Department of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) are seeking dedicated Neuro-Oncologists to enhance our renowned team at UPMC Shadyside. UPMC, the largest healthcare system in Pennsylvania, offers a collaborative environment supported by a robust network of specialists.
Our Department features 85 faculty members with expertise across all clinical specialties and core basic science disciplines. We take pride in our centers of excellence, including the UPMC Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, and the Pittsburgh Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases, among others. Our focus on innovative research and comprehensive patient care provides an exceptional platform for professional growth.
We offer a variety of positions, including opportunities in academic neuro-oncology, outpatient settings, and hospitalist roles. You will work alongside residents and physician extenders in a collegial atmosphere, ensuring comprehensive patient care and excellent educational experiences for trainees.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates should be board certified or board eligible in neuro-oncology, with plans to achieve board certification within two years. A Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one is required. An academic appointment with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine will be offered, commensurate with experience.
