Position Details As a Portfolio Manager, responsible for efficient and effective credit and risk assessment under established First Bank guidelines. Strong detail towards financial analysis, credit recommendations, and ongoing portfolio maintenance. Responsibilities: Assisting the Director of Warehouse Lending with credit transactions, creating proposal letters, commitment letters, etc. Continuous monitoring and review of existing portfolio to ensure compliance with covenants. Ensures loan agreements are in accordance with approved documents. Assures monitoring information is in FCM. Ensures Sentinel covenant monitoring is kept up-to-date and in accordance with policy and procedures. Elevate any suspected credit quality issues in assigned portfolio. Client follow-ups on new opportunities or missing items on existing loan deals Analyze and underwrite new loan opportunities within the assigned portfolio, utilizing market research, internal loan information, client data, and third-party market research. Collaborate with relationship managers to develop strategies around relationship optimization and deal-level execution. Responsible for ensuring financial statements are spread and analyzed, addressing industry risks, monitoring collateral requirements, loan structuring and pricing, credit analysis, monitoring credit performance and assisting with loan presentations. Handles reporting on loans such as past dues, documentation and collateral exceptions, financial performance updates, portfolio profitability, risk grades, etc. Initiate loan presentations in Sentinel for new loans and modifications, when needed. Responsible for ensuring all appropriate fields are accurate in Sentinel including the Relationships, Guarantors, co-borrowers, signers, financial reporting, covenants, rate, etc. Work together with RM's, loan administrators, and credit on serving the client. Attend pipeline meeting and work with Managing Director on assignments and workflow. What Do You Need for this Position? Bachelor's degree 3 years of warehouse lending experience, preferred; demonstrated experience with commercial lending will be considered 3 years of portfolio management experience Strong financial analysis skills, ability to analyze, decipher, and make observations/recommendations based on a variety of information received Good analytical skills Proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software product, Salesforce, and primary bank systems About Us Be a part of a growing company that is truly committed to its employees and clients.
