BASIC PURPOSEOperate a Class A CDL truck to transport product to designated locations, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOperate a Class A CDL truck; drive and deliver customer orders according to determined route schedule. Drive backhauls as needed.Perform all required safety checks including inspections of truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Reports all safety issues and/or repairs required.Communicate and interact with customers and co-workers professionally.Comply with all safe working practices, policies, and processes. Consistently follow all DOT regulations and company policiesPerform all required safety checks including inspections of truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Reports all safety issues and/or repairs required.Perform all pre-trip responsibilities thoroughly, completely, and accurately.Drive to and deliver customer orders to meet the scheduled customer times and maintain adequate productivity rate to meet delivery schedules. Use electronic time keeping system to log in time at customer site.As needed support unloading of product or complete other responsibilities to support the customer.Verify delivery of correct items with customer and obtain proper signatures and follow established procedures.Complete necessary trainingOther duties as assignedRELATIONSHIPSInternal
