BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our dynamic team in Kingsport TN. The Program Manager will serve as an active manager of projects at Holston Army Ammunition Plant (HSAAP). You will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives, and complex facility development and construction. Specific duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:Lead a cross functional project team to successfully deliver assigned projects on time, and within budget. Responsible for profit and loss for assigned projects.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or BusinessP&L experience in delivering complex projects with cross functional teamsA minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in project management on design and engineering, design-build, engineer-procure-construct (EPC) projects with a concentration in the industrial sector preferred within a matrixed organization.Experience managing cross-functional teams to deliver or exceed commitments.Able to communicate effectively to upper management and customers.Proficient in technical writing such as proposal or statement of work development.Proficient with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe.Proficient in guiding the development of successful project schedules. Understands schedule mechanics and applies their proper use to develop a fully integrated schedule.Experience in forecasting realistic budgets and able to track and control costs.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Masters degree in related field.Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI) or DAWIA Level III Program Management.Experience in managing projects for the US Department of Defense preferred.Experience working within construction or production in complex high consequence Chemical/Oil/Gas industries.Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience or similar performance measurement tool.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $103590 - $176130
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
