Attorney Assistance:
Provide general legal support to attorneys, including preparation for meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings •
Legal documents:
Work independently and assist in the preparation of Bills of Particulars, Summonses and Complaints, and other Litigation documents. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent writing skills • Must be familiar with eFiling, eLaw, and eTrack •
Case Management:
Organize and manage case files with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all documents, evidence, and correspondence are properly filed and maintained •
Client Communication:
Engage with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and ensure they have a clear understanding of the legal process •
Discovery Support:
Facilitate the discovery process by drafting and responding to requests for documents and other tasks •
Court Filings:
Prepare and file legal documents with the court, ensuring compliance with filing deadlines and local court rules •
Trial Preparation:
Help prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, coordinating witness schedules, and supporting attorneys during proceedings •
Communication with Opposing Counsel:
Correspond with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other relevant parties to exchange information •
Case Management Systems:
Utilize legal software to track case progress, deadlines, and important details •
Client Updates:
Keep clients informed about the status of their cases, including upcoming court dates, depositions, and any significant developments Qualifications: • 3-5 years of Personal Injury Law firm experience –
Required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, a big plus • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 yearly
