**Litigation Paralegal
Location: **Atlanta (Buckhead)
Pay:
$80K+
Benefits:

PrideStaff is working with a national personal injury law firm in Buckhead that is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to add to their Atlanta office. This direct hire position is completely in-office and offers outstanding benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, 401K, bonus pay and free parking.
Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities
Case Management:
Assist attorneys in managing and organizing complex plaintiff litigation cases from inception to resolution on a national level.
Coordinate with legal teams to ensure deadlines are met and case progress is tracked effectively.
Maintain electronic case files, including, but not limited to, pleadings, discovery, exhibits, and correspondence.
Legal Research and Analysis:
Conduct legal research on case-related issues using various resources such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and online databases.
Summarize and analyze legal documents, statutes, regulations, and case law to support case strategy and arguments.
Drafting and Filing:
Prepare and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, pleadings, and discovery requests and responses.
Assist in preparing deposition summaries, witness lists, and trial exhibits.
File legal documents with state and federal courts and agencies, ensuring compliance with filing requirements.
Discovery Management:
Assist in the discovery process, including document collection, review, and production.
Coordinate document review with outside vendors and manage electronic discovery databases.
Prepare privilege logs and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Trial Preparation and Support:
Assist attorneys in preparing for trial, including organizing trial exhibits, witness materials, and trial binders.
Attend trials and hearings as needed to provide paralegal support, including managing exhibits and assisting with witness coordination.
Assist in post-trial activities, such as drafting post-trial motions and appellate briefs.
Litigation Paralegal Requirements
2+ years Litigation Paralegal experience
Paralegal certification preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent knowledge of court rules, procedures and regulations
Able to work independently and efficiently while successfully managing multiple priorities
Able to remain calm in stressful situations
