MercyOne Des Moines is seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained Neurosurgeon to join our collegial Neurosurgery team. We offer competitive base salary of $1.1 million with 2-yr income guarantee, $100,000 bonus, moving allowance $15,000, CME $5000 and time off 31 days up to 35 days per year, malpractice with tail coverage, 403(b) and so much more!

Opportunity Details:

Case mix includes complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain and busy trauma service

Two Clinic Days/3 OR Days

No elective cases or clinic while on Trauma Call

Dedicated Clinic RN for each Physician

Call 1:4 with APP taking 1st call

APP’s primary assist with daily inpatient rounding

On site X-Ray, CT and MRI/ Functional MRI

Robust spine center with integrated Pain and PMR

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is a 550 bed Level II Trauma center that has been faithfully serving the community since 1893 and has a tertiary service area of 1.4 million.
