Senior Application Developer Summary of Duties
The Senior Application Developer works collaboratively to create, to improve, and to maintain custom applications (cloud based and web based) in a primarily Microsoft environment with a focus on web based applications and services.
Essential Job Functions of a Senior Application Developer
Design and develop complex applications and code based upon business requirementsTest the designed/created solution for functionality and identify errorsEnsures that business requirements and performance/security expectations are metTroubleshoot and modify existing programs to enhance performanceMentor to Application Developers, increasing their knowledge in coding and ability to navigate around technical challengesReviews pull requests, providing constructive feedback when necessaryMaintain and update application CI/CD pipeline'sWrites work items to assist in the evolution of the product technologyProvide top level support on production related issuesRequirements
Required
Qualifications of a Senior Application Developer
Associate's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study from an accredited college or university, or a software certification specific to full stack web development; or a minimum of two years of direct work experience in front end and back end development preferably in a healthcare related organizationStrong working knowledge of web applications development and software design including microservices architecture, data modeling, and user interface designDemonstrated proficiency in; 1) Microsoft .NET Framework and related Microsoft development technologies 2) unit testing techniques; 3) advanced application knowledge in the product domain assigned to their teamSenior Application Developer
