Requirements

The QC Inspector will be inspecting printed circuit boards, logging defects, and escalating defects as required.

Essential FunctionsThe Inspector will be responsible for the inspection of printed circuit board assemblies to IPC-A-610 Class 2-3.Inspection will include solder characteristics and components for SMT and PTH assemblies.The Inspector is responsible for performing inspection which includes presence/absence of components, part marking, and component orientation of critical components.Inspect products in a timely manner while following all required procedures.Required & Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

IPC Certification is a plus.Associates Degree, or relevant studies and/or training supporting this position.2+ years' experience inspecting printed circuit boards.Know how to interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and ECOs.Familiar with inspection aids and tools in performing inspection and assembly functions.Work Environment/Physical & Mental Requirements

This job requires the use of magnifying equipment and other tools used in the inspection of printed circuit boards.Requires operating a computer.Requires frequent physical lifting of printed circuit boards up to 10 lbs.Requires constant viewing of PCBs and components.This job operates in a manufacturing assembly environment.
