Position Summary:
Person will be responsible for taking full control of CQC plan for Sauer on a project at the Norfolk Naval Station VA. Person will be responsible for overall management of the CQC plan and having full authority to act in all QC matters.
Essential Functions:
- Capable of coordinating with many Subcontractors
- Efficient/Able to plan days, weeks in advance
- Detail driven
- Skillful communicator with client/subcontractors
- Able to conduct QCM weekly meeting in a highly professional manner and instill confidence in client in the QC operations
- Perform/coordinate inspections
- Upload and manage QC data on a daily basis
- Experience with high end renovations
- Perform submittal review functions
- Proficient completing required daily documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering
- Candidate must have 5 years' DOD experience 10 years' experience as a QC Manager on similar projects
- Certificate for "Construction Quality Management for Contractors" from USACE
- 30 Hour OSHA in construction
- Excellent knowledge of quality control inspection standards, procedures and applicable codes required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
