.NET Developer100% Remote6 Month (Contract-to-Hire)Brooksource is currently seeking an experienced .NET Web and Multiplatform App UI (MAUI) Application Developer to develop and support internal applications for our client who is the nation's largest provider of public utility locating services. This position will involve application development, database design and development. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team environment with remote team members, implementing with coordinated methodologies, software, and development processes.Required Qualifications:Minimum 5 years practical experience with C# .NET and SQLStrong understanding of .NET application architecture and object-oriented designDatabase (SQL Server and PostgreSQL) experience including SQL Stored ProceduresExperience with multi-tiered applications and design principlesExperience with .NET (MVC framework and Core) web application development (MVC, HTML/CSS/JavaScript)Experience with Multiplatform App UI (MAUI) mobile application developmentExperience with NET PersistenceExperience with REST APIs and JSON data exchange formatFamiliar with Web ServicesSelf-starter who can work independently without a lot of supervisionStrong organizational, documentation, and communication skillsAbility to communicate to the team clearly and proactively and to non-technical members of the organizationStrong prioritization and interpersonal skillsFamiliar with Agile principlesFamiliar with source code control practicesFamiliar with publishing mobile apps to App / Play storeOperates effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancements and fixesKey Responsibilities:Development and on-going maintenance of multiple .NET (MVC framework and Core) applicationsWork in cooperation with remote development teamClearly communicate status
