This position is remote or onsite optional with monthly/quarterly attendance for meetings/events at Harbor's corporate office in Lacey, WA. Open to Pacific Northwest/CA resident candidates only. The Director of Foodservice Sales is pivotal in leading the team to achieve company sales and market strategy objectives. With a focus on team management and customer growth, this role requires strong leadership and relationship-building skills. The Director collaborates closely with operations, purchasing, and administration to uphold company standards. Direct reports include Foodservice Sales Managers, Foodservice Sales Developers and other administrative positions. Success in this role hinges on an impactful leader with a winning attitude, driving tangible results and revenue growth.

Compensation: $120K - 200K includes salary + bonus/commission program; all travel paid, corporate credit card, mileage, equipment for home office/mobile. Travel is 40% of this position.

Essential Job Functions:

Work with VP of Sales and California Regional President to plan company revenue / margin forecasts and achieve sales ops objectives.Develop foodservice team strategy that assures attainment of company sales and profitability goals.Improve same store sales business while securing new foodservice customers.Set targets for new foodservice customer acquisition and implement strategy to secure the business.Effective sales team development while maximizing each skillset, including measurable improvement and success with team development and objectives.Responsible for growth and effort around the company's Real Fresh Brands, QSR profit and growth plan.Call on existing regional chain / key customers, meeting objectives in retention and further account development.Communicate and monitor team alignment with company values.Develop and coach a winning sales team capable of exceeding assigned customer development and sales targets.Implement clear concise performance measures for each employee and conduct regular evaluations, uphold accountability.Create and maintain an atmosphere in which employees willingly produce at a high level.Plan for and provide opportunities for employee advancement and development.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong professional selling skills and experience in training and coaching professional sales staff.

Proven sales leadership with past customers and team development success documented.

Must be likeable, with an ability to quickly build rapport with team members and customers.

Strong ability to lead change. As the region and company grows, the Director of Foodservice Sales must be willing to make changes and scale the organization accordingly.

Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

Must have strong ability to read and interpret financial data and reporting metrics.

Professional and impactful communication and interpersonal skills. Must have effective presentation skills.

Must possess strong decision-making skills.

Ability to recruit and identify industry talent to help build team.

Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress, and crisis situations.

Effective use of technology including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and all mobile and handheld technology.
