With the Director, Regional Sales's support, these representatives will call on current and potential Phonak customers within a specific territory or region to sell the full Phonak product portfolio, working directly with audiologists, physicians, large retail chains, and hospitals. This position will be responsible for directing, coaching, and managing the performance of the staff to drive continued growth as they provide training solutions, prospect new accounts, and grow sales within existing customer accounts.Responsibilities:Direct, coach and manage performance of the team to comply with company and territory/regional goals and drive successCoach sales team to develop synchronized account strategies and designsInterfaces with the Clinical Training staff to maximize the field team's competency and confidence in selling Phonak technology and customer's preference for selling itRecruit, hire, train and develop staff as requiredMonitor and measure ongoing effectiveness of team and redirect efforts when neededAchieve sales quota as assigned in region territoriesImplement tracking systems to measure outcomes and progress; lead forecasting effortsDesign, implement and execute compensation programs and promotions for departmentMaintain strong relationships and rapport with customers and key opinion leaders within regionEnforce company code of conduct and policies/procedures as well as duties and responsibilities within departmentWork in cooperation with other departments to attain company sales goalsWork as liaison between the field team and headquarters staff to ensure cohesion and timely resolution of any critical issuesTravel with team members regularly o mentor and evaluate individual performanceProvide ongoing departmental updates to VP of Commercial SalesRepresent Phonak at national and regional meetings as requiredHold team accountable with internal policies and procedures for documenting customer visits in CRM system on a daily basisMaintain expense reporting weekly for self and team and manage territory with in OPEX guidelinesOther duties as assigned by Sr. Dir. Commercial SalesTravel requirement up to 70% including overnight

More about you:Bachelor's Degree required, Master's of Audiology or Doctorate Audiology Preferred2+ years' experience in field sales management and supervision5+ years of B2B sales experience, selling technical products in the medical device industryProven track record of leading successful teamsStrong negotiation and closing skillsSelf-motivated and competitiveFocus on building strong customer relationshipsFocus on achievement of growth goals and staff accountabilityTime management and organizational skillsEffective communication skillsStrong presentation skillsAbility to understand technologyStrong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with CRM systems (salesforce.com preferred)Willingness to travel overnight frequently

*Plan rules/offerings dependent upon group Company/location.This role's pay range is between: $107,000 - $155,000 (compensation based on location and experience.
